Long and far between
So we haven't had internet for almost the last week now. Bulembu was incredible! It's so hard to describe the beauty of the children and they joy they had in words. We got to run 4 different soccer clinics for the kids as well as spend time with them in their schools. I wish we were there longer! God has done so much work there this far and is still working. I know that I will be back their soon. We are now in Johannesburg and played the South African National team who will be at the Olympics in London soon! We lost 1-0 but it was such an amazing opportunity. We got to hang out and spend time with them afterwards which was sweet! I was in the presence of Olympic athletes! It's our last full day here until we come home. I'm missing everyone so much! xoxo

another day :)
Yesterday felt like a week long. We got to spend the morning doing devo's as a team and then we got split into groups and went to three different elementary schools where we ran soccer camps for girls. The girls were fantastic and showed us so much joy. I am continually being reminded of the beauty here. The people are beautiful, the country is beautiful, and their culture is beautiful. I am so happy. Yesterday at the camp I was asked to tell a little testimonial story to the girls. I was a little nervous but their warm smiles completely calmed me. I talked about how everyone has differnet talnets and God loves all of our unique gifts. After they had a chance to ask me questions and one girl asks me how long it would take to become a professional rapper...I replied by sayin I don't usually rap too much so I wasn't sure... Long story short I ended up rapping in front of all of the camp. It was bad, but everyone got a good laugh! That night we played a soccer game against the unicersity of Pertoria and won 7-0. we had dinner with the Pertoria team after as well as a dance party. I am loving it here and looking forward to all of the people the Lord has in my path to meet. xoxo

Here safe!
We made it!! My ankles are non existent right now and are so swollen that all I can wear is flip flops at the moment. The flight was long, but very enjoyable as we got to chat a lot and I watched a movie and some tv as well. We stopped over in London and spent a few hours there just sight seeing. Its so beAutiful there! We had another 9 hour flight and then arrived! We went straight to this really amazing lion park where we got to see lions hat were less than 15 feet away from us! We saw lots of other wild animals too like cheetahs, zebra, water buffalo and lots others! Then I to go and and hang our with a baby tiger! So cute! I posted a pic on Facebook. We are here safe but very tired! It's going to be an early night! Love you all!

Off to Africa
I am finally packed! Yes I leave tomorrow, and yes I have left it to the last minute, but I am just happy it is now finished! I will be trying to update my blog as much as possible when I am away, but we are still unsure about how much internet access we will have. My team also has a blog, so there may be times that there is only time to update that one. So if ya want you can check both! I really appreciate everyone who has been praying for us as we prepare for this amazing experience. I truly believe that God has his hand on this trip and I want to go and be a vessel for His work. I will miss you all xoxo

bubble tea
So just to let you all know, I now have two hearts!! You may be thinking that I have gone completely crazy, but literally I have two hearts now! I went to this place called Bubble World yesterday with friends and that is where I consumed the chicken heart. I didn't want to eat it at first, but me being slightly competitive, quickly changed my mind when I was told to try it. Oh and I also ate pig ear…..very very strange. But I can say now that I will probably never eat chicken heart or pig ear again. I mean I'm happy I tried it, but trying it once is enough. But I do love the bubble tea there! Both Alex and I couldn't decide what one to try soo we came up the amazing idea of getting two different ones and sharing them...just a brilliant idea!
