Ok so I before going to university I decided to transfer all of Karina's music onto my commuter; she had a lot so I thought it was a good idea. But then I realized that we have completely different music styles...I mean she is my little indie girl, and me I am more of a country/Andrew Allen person. So today I spent a few hours deleting all of the songs I did not like. I thought that it might be a few hundred or so that I would delete..but there are 3077 songs in my "trash". I am completely clutter free! Feels so good! Now when my iPod is on shuffle I don't have to skip a bunch of songs to find one I like! Life is good.

Today i found myself driving in sunglasses while wearing a big fur coat. seems contradicting, but it was completely necessary. the sun shining so bright with my windows still frosted was so beautiful.

im an addict. and addict for knitting. which is not necessarily a bad thing, i mean there is nothing wrong with being a granny. i have finished a pair of slippers today, and have now started the next pair. i left my house once today....and that was to get more yarn. oh how i love knitting, so relaxing and just makes me happy.

me- "ya most the time I do"

twins- "but then you can't do the splits and stuff"

me- "ya I can't, but most the time I'm not doing the splits so it's ok"

hahah maybe it was one of those times where you had to be there, but I thought it was really funny. Kids are the best, just make me happy

Trying to explain what Botox is to 7-year-old boys. I would have never predicted having to attempt this. I sat there while both of their big eyes looks at me, completely confused why someone would ever want to freeze their face so that they couldn’t eat…. I couldn’t help but laugh as they both showed me their best impression of someone with Botox. To funny.

My name is Jolayne and I have a problem. I think I am allergic to the library. Honestly, the few times I have been in there I have either 

A. Almost fallen asleep

B. Laughed so hard and had to leave

Today skim and I decide go to the library.....bad idea from the start. Well it was going fine for the first 8 minutes, and then skim kept giggling, so I asked her what was so funny. I leaned over and began to read her screen.... and it all went down hill from there, we ended up having to leave because we thought we were going to get kicked out. This must be a sign, Jolayne is not meant to be in the library. Take a look at this if you want to laugh...hopefully you think it is as funny as I did!

a happier you

Naps have officially become my new best friend. Honestly though these days I have been craving naps. And I am at a slight dilemma. I mean I know I should go to bed earlier, but I get so much work done at 1am..so if I were to go to bed I would miss out on a good 2 hours of homework. And in this time of the semester I just cannot afford to give up those hours.  I really do get so excited for naps. At the point when I lose the metal battle in my head and decide to have a nap there is an excitement inside me that forms. Literally I start walking back to my room to have a nap and as I get closer the speed of my walk increases until I am actually at a slow run because I am just so excited to have a nap. The great thing about naps though is I wake up so much happier and can then enjoy the day a lot more. And even though I am missing out on an hour of the day, I have decided that it is better to miss that hour and spend the rest of the day as a more happier you.

Yesterday night Jackie and I decided to do some homework. We stopped at 12 because we thought it would be a good idea to get a good night sleep. We ended up coming back to dorms and talking to 3:30 am...

This is what happens when you have such amazing friends.  I am so blessed. And I truly mean that, I feel so thankful that God has put such amazing people in my life. I am constantly reminded how important it is to have friends not only to laugh and joke around with but to also have serious talks about life and about faith. I am so happy that I have friends I can grow in my faith with and who can be there by my side when I am struggling too.
